Rotary Membership Madness
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Teams – There will be 12 teams that will be comprised of every active UA Rotarian. Teams will have a captain and a co-captain that manage their team.
Rules/Points – Teams will receive points from their team doing certain tasks to promote membership in Rotary. The 4-way test will be in effect to assure truthfulness in reporting. The winning team will be the team with the most points collected from January 1 – March 31, 2020. Teams will receive points for the following tasks:
- Posting an invitation to attend Rotary on Social Media – 3 points
- Hosting a guest at Rotary – 6 points
- Hosting a guest at a Rotary Social or Service Event- 10 points
- Asking a friend to join Rotary/providing them a member application – 15 points
- Having a friend submit a membership application – 20 points
Bonus: If the guest/applicant is under 40 years old or female, the points are doubled
The contest will run from January 1 through March 31st.

CONTEST CONCLUSION/PRIZE
The tournament champion will be announced at the March 31st Rotary meeting. The winning team will celebrate their victory with a private dinner and screening of the NCAA Championship game at Grandview Café on Monday April 6th. In addition, a $2,000 donation will be made to a charitable organization of the winning team’s choice for their commitment to the UA Rotary Club. We will recognize exceptional individual performances throughout the contest during meetings to motivate the group to participate.
