SUMMARY:UA Rotary volunteering with Meals on Wheels
DESCRIPTION:UA Rotary covers a Meals on Wheels route once a month on a Saturday morning.  Rotary committed to delivering route V1410 which covers stops in Worthington and areas around Bethel/Henderson Road. \nThe deliveries can be completed by one or two Rotarians and this is a great activity to involve your family including younger children to introduce them to service.  The route typically will take one driver about three hours from the time you pick up meals at the Smoky Row Fire station to the time you get home. \nWe try to get volunteers to commit to dates several months in advance\, but that doesn’t always occur\, and sometimes volunteers end up not being able to do it and we need replacements. \nIf you are interested in helping with this very rewarding service\, please contact Barri Jones at twinsmom911@yahoo.com to let her know of your interest and to see what upcoming dates are available.  Dates UA Rotary has for spring and summer of 2020 are listed below (please note that these dates may already be covered by another member.  Contact Barri to make sure. \nMarch 14 \nApril 11 \nMay 9 \nJune 13 \nJuly 11 \n

She is also President of the Board of Directors for the Ecological Research as Education Network (EREN). Anderson’s research and teaching interests include temperate forest ecology\, invasive plants\, global environmental change\, environmental issues in food production\, and developing collaborative ecological projects across small colleges. She leads travel courses on global change in Brazil\, Utah and Alaska. In 2015\, she was recognized as the Ohio Professor of the Year by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education.
