DESCRIPTION:We will be having a modest little cookout for the outgoing 5th graders at West Broad from about noon on Wednesday June 1 until around 3:00. Andy Schmidt will have a grill\, hot dogs\, buns and chips. We will also bring popsicles and some form of drink. This will probably be out in the back somewhere. This will not be labor intensive (well except maybe for Andy) but it would be good to have a few of us out there to keep things moving. Might need some ice\, coolers\, etc. Still working on that with Cindy. If you are interested in participating\, even if only for part of the time\, let Tom Davis know. There will be a little more to do on the front end setting up etc.

DESCRIPTION:  \nHi\, Everyone\, \nThe World Service Committee will meet on May 24 at 5:30 pm.  Erin Mooney\, Executive Director of Mayan Families\, will be our guest of honor and discuss “Mayan Families and UA Rotary 2022 Partnership.” \nRalph Griffith has set us up in a cool location\, The Depot Conference Room.  The address is 924 Old Henderson Road\, Columbus\, OH 43220.   Driving instructions to The Depot Conference Room are: north on Kenny Road toward Henderson Road and make a right onto Old Henderson Road at the FedEx office. Go all the way down Old Henderson past Dale Cleaners on the left\, and take the bend in the road to the right. In front of you will be a train depot called the Depot Conference Center. We will hold a World Service committee meeting Tuesday May 24th at 5:30 PM. While Erin has shared her proposals for our club for the 2022-2023 Rotary year we felt having her present them to the committee in person would be great so we can have conversation and questions. Items Erin has proposed for consideration for our club MF projects include: \n  \n– Financial Update \n– Nutrition and Health (UAR Malnutrition Program and Elder Care) \n– Education (Preschools and Leadership Development for students) \n– Economic Development (Entrepreneurship Training) \n– Community Projects (focusing in Tierra Linda and El Barranco) \n  \n
