DESCRIPTION:UA Rotary will again be partnering with Operation Warm to provide new winter coats to kids at West Broad Street Elementary this year. Last year Operation Warm provided kids in Columbus with 4000 coats. UA Rotary will be funding $12\,500 towards this project and members are requested to cover the rest of the expenses ($25 buys one coat).  There will be volunteer opportunities for members to help set up and distribute coats.  Coats will be distributed on Friday\, November 8th.  Contact Doug Godard at doug.godard@bonzy.org \n\nCoat Day for West Broad Elementary School – Friday\, November 8th\nTwo Volunteer Sessions\n\nMorning Session – 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM – Set up the first hour\nAfternoon Session – 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM\n\n\nTen to fifteen volunteers are needed for each session.\nVolunteers can sign up online at: https://www.signupgenius.com/org/uarotary#/\n\n\nA charitable donation of $25 keeps a student warm with a new winter coat.

DESCRIPTION:CEARC Greenhouse Facility Roundtable \nWe have this tour scheduled for the Upper Arlington Rotary Club on Tuesday\, September 10th from 10:30am-11:30am. \n  \nThe CEARC is located at 2515 Carmack Road\, Columbus\, OH 43210. The parking is very limited directly at the CEARC and typically there is no guest or event parking at the CEARC\, parking directly at the CEARC is reserved for faculty\, staff\, and students who are working in the facility. If you have any guests with mobility issues\, there are handicap spaces in the CEARC parking lot and guests are welcome to park there. \n  \nIf you have guests attending that are able to walk 3-5 minutes\, you may instruct them to park in the large gravel Event Parking Lot at Waterman\, located at 2510 Carmack Road\, Columbus\, OH 43210. We also have directional signs up with arrows pointing to the Event Parking. I have attached our map to help with directions. The Event Parking Lot is colored blue on the map\, once parked guests can walk along the paved road (colored green on the map) to the entrance of the CEARC that is colored teal on the map. \n  \nAlso\, due to the construction on the property\, the entrance to Waterman at Lane Ave will be used for construction traffic only. All staff and event traffic should enter and exit at the entrance at Kenny Road near the Kunz-Brundige Franklin County Extension Building.
